Tackling burnout, self care, mindfulness and keeping the passion alive!

Our retreat will be a two-day, one-night escape to meet with like-minded Nurses and Midwives who want to delve deeper into understanding how to engage in mindfulness and self-care to tackle burnout and maintain your passion for your career.
Working in healthcare means you are constantly caring for other people; come to our retreat to learn how to care for yourself! 

Our retreat will be held in Smiths Beach in Phillip Island - about an hour and a half from the Melbourne CBD and be a fully inclusive night away! 

You will check-in at 10am on July 23rd and be treated to a brunch gazing platter while we get to know one another! 
Over the next day, you will get workshops on burnout and self care, debrief sessions, and deep-dive conversations about your experiences in healthcare so far. You will get involved with a yoga and mediation session and a wine, cheese, and chat session after dinner, in which we will discuss current research and evidence-based healthcare. 

Day 2 is about looking forward in your career, taking the challenges and experiences you have had so far, and turning them into positive steps forward. We will start the morning with a beach walk, and journal writing session, followed by another debrief and goal setting seminar and a discussion on moving forward from your burnout and going from surviving, too thriving. 

Your retreat covers all food and accommodation and all sessions, workshops and deep dives, yoga and meditation, a cooking class, and a fantastic goodie bag for you to take home!

This is the very first of our retreats and something we hope to do way more often in the future.

This retreat will be CPD approved. The process can take up to 4 weeks; however it will be between 6 and 10 hours! And tax-deductible.
